Accede Mold & Tool Co., Inc. proudly announces that Vincent Tool Technologies Corp. has been named our 2025 Supplier of the Year.
The award was presented in person to Kenny Skar, President of Vincent Tool Technologies, during his visit to Accede’s Rochester, NY headquarters. What began as a standard performance review became an opportunity to recognize a supplier whose leadership, discipline, and proactive engagement materially strengthen our ability to deliver complex, high-performance molds.
Accede’s Supplier of the Year Award recognizes the supplier who most significantly contributes to our commitment to quality, performance, and integrity. Suppliers are evaluated annually through a cross-functional review process involving leadership across supply chain, engineering, operations, and executive management. The award reflects consistent excellence in quality, delivery, communication, innovation, and partnership alignment.
Vincent Tool Technologies earned this recognition not only because of what they produce, but because of how they lead.
What stood out most in 2025 was Kenny Skar’s proactive approach. Vincent Tool does not wait for problems to surface. Upon order placement, their team initiates a formal launch meeting and scope-of-work review to ensure complete alignment on expectations — form, fit, and function. That structured, reflective, and organized process establishes clarity early and protects execution throughout the build.
For Accede, that level of discipline is essential.
Seventy-five percent of the molds we are building today serve the medical market, including medical devices, drug delivery systems, labware, surgical devices, and pharmaceutical applications. These programs are held to extremely tight tolerances and high validation standards. Many of our molds incorporate complex actions and value-added auxiliaries designed to eliminate downstream operations for the production molder. Servo-driven and mechanically driven side actions, core pulls, and mold plate split sequences must operate in precise coordination.
These systems depend on accuracy and repeatability. Motion, alignment, and structural integrity cannot be compromised.
Accede builds our cavity stacks in-house because of the precision required for consistency and control from cavity to cavity in production molding. The mold base, which supports and interfaces with these assemblies, is therefore foundational. If the base lacks dimensional stability or precision, it can undermine the performance of even the most meticulously engineered cavity components.
Vincent Tool understands this responsibility.
Their machining precision, dimensional control, and disciplined execution directly support our ability to deliver Class 101 injection molds for high cavitation, two-shot, stack, and advanced rotary systems. They recognize that the mold base is not simply a frame — it is a performance-critical system that must support dynamic motion and sustained accuracy over millions of cycles.
Beyond machining capability, their communication and responsiveness distinguish them as a strategic partner. They engage early, provide clarity, and remain accountable. Their leadership approach reduces risk and strengthens outcomes.
As Andy Boehly, Supply Chain Manager at Accede Mold & Tool, stated:
“Vincent Tool Technologies earned this recognition through consistent performance, accountability, and a true partnership mindset. Their commitment to quality and delivery supports our engineering standards and enables us to execute complex tooling programs with confidence. They don’t just supply components — they strengthen our ability to deliver Mold Building Excellence.”
Kenny Skar, President of Vincent Tool Technologies Corp., shared:
“We are honored to be recognized as Accede’s 2025 Supplier of the Year. Accede sets a high standard in the industry, and we take great pride in supporting their team with precision mold bases and responsive service. Our relationship is built on trust, communication, and shared commitment to quality — and we look forward to continuing to grow together.”
Accede Mold & Tool is a family-owned, Rochester, NY-based Class 101 injection mold builder serving medical, consumer packaging, industrial, automotive, and defense markets. Every mold we build reflects the collaboration of skilled professionals and trusted partners.
The Supplier of the Year Award reinforces our belief that excellence is achieved collectively — and that the mold truly is greater than the sum of its parts.
We congratulate Vincent Tool Technologies Corp. on this well-earned recognition and thank their entire team for their continued leadership and partnership.
