CAPABILITIES

Built on Process. Driven by Experience.

From mold design through qualification, Accede brings engineering, manufacturing, inspection, sampling, and support together around one objective: production-ready tooling.

More Than a List of Equipment

Capability comes from how people, process, technology, and experience work together. Each stage informs the next—with defined reviews and verification throughout the build.

Mold Design + Project Management

Define It Before We Build It

Decisions made early can determine how a mold performs for years to come. Accede applies decades of mold-building experience, engineering analysis, and disciplined technical reviews to identify risks, challenge assumptions, and establish the right build direction before steel is cut.

Mold Building

Precision Made Tangible

Advanced manufacturing technology is only as capable as the people behind it. Accede combines premium equipment, substantial in-house capacity to manufacture cavity stacks, and generations of moldmaking and manufacturing expertise to hold demanding tolerances and build molds for precision, performance, and long production life.

Inspection + Quality

Verify Along the Way

Inspection is integrated throughout the build to verify critical dimensions at defined stages, identify issues before they move downstream, and support informed decisions. Accede’s disciplined quality processes and experienced team help reduce risk, rework, and surprises later in the program.

Mold Qualification

Confidence Before Delivery

Accede samples molds in-house to mechanically qualify performance, develop a scientific molding process, and evaluate dimensional results—identifying and addressing issues before the mold reaches the customer’s production floor.

Turn-key Integration

Bring the System Together

Customer-procured production equipment can be brought to Accede to integrate and qualify the complete molding system away from day-to-day production demands. With the mold and mold-building team in one place, adjustments can be made efficiently—reducing transportation, iteration, and disruption before installation at the customer’s facility.

Lifecycle Support

Support Beyond Shipment

A production mold is a long-term investment. Accede supports the molds we build throughout their lifecycle, applying the same tooling knowledge and manufacturing expertise behind the original build to help customers maintain performance, minimize disruption, and protect that investment over time.

Built Around the Application

Decades of tooling experience give Accede the depth to evaluate each application on its requirements—not a preferred mold architecture. Our experience spans long-life Class 101 production tooling and a broad range of mold architectures, applying proven knowledge to select the right approach for performance, reliability, and production needs.

Learn Before You Scale

Pilot / Development /
Proof-of-Concept Tooling

Pilot and development tooling creates an opportunity to prove critical molding concepts, evaluate part and tool performance, and apply what is learned before committing to higher-cavitation production tooling. For demanding applications, that knowledge can reduce technical risk and inform better decisions as the program scales.

Scale with Confidence

High-Cavitation Molds

When production demand requires greater output, increasing cavitation can deliver more parts per cycle—but also increases the importance of balance, repeatability, cooling, and dimensional consistency across cavities. Accede applies experience with high-cavitation tooling to engineer for reliable, repeatable performance at production scale.

High-cavitation production | Balanced performance | Repeatability | Production scale

More Output from Every Cycle

Stack Molds

Stack molds increase productive molding capacity by adding multiple parting-line levels within the mold, increasing output without requiring a proportionate increase in press clamp tonnage. The right application can gain significant productivity while making efficient use of available production equipment and floor space.

Multiple molding levels | Increased output | Press efficiency | Production efficiency

Combine More in the Mold

Two-Shot / Multi-Shot Molds

Two-shot and multi-shot molding can integrate materials, colors, functions, or features within the molding cycle—potentially consolidating components and reducing downstream assembly. Accede evaluates the application, production requirements, and available molding technologies to determine an architecture suited to both the part and how it will ultimately be produced.

Material integration | Component consolidation | Reduced assembly | Multiple transfer architectures

Integrate More into the Cycle

Spinstack® / Cube Molds

Internal rotating mold architectures can move molded components between stations within the mold, enabling multiple molding and processing steps in a highly integrated production cycle. For the right high-volume application, SpinStack® and cube technologies can support component consolidation, reduced downstream handling, and highly efficient production.

Internal rotation | Multi-station molding | Process integration | High-volume efficiency

Control Designed Around the Application

Servo Solutions

Accede applies extensive experience with servo-driven mold functions to evaluate both the motion and how it should be controlled. Side actions, integrated cube rotation, in-mold rotary tables, and unscrewing can be integrated with HRS controllers, press controls, or standalone systems—giving customers flexibility to select the approach that best fits their equipment, process, and production requirements.

Threads Engineered for Production

Unscrewing Molds

Accede applies decades of mold-building experience to engineer unscrewing systems around the part, material, cycle requirements, and production environment. From mechanical solutions to servo-driven systems, the right approach supports reliable thread release, repeatability, maintainability, and long-term production performance.

Internal + external threads | Mechanical unscrewing | Servo-driven unscrewing | Repeatable release | Production reliability

Do More Within the Molding Cycle

In-Mold + On-Mold
Close Systems

In-mold and on-mold close systems can integrate closing or assembly into the molding cycle—helping customers consolidate operations, reduce downstream handling and secondary assembly, and simplify the overall manufacturing process. Accede applies deep tooling experience to engineer the mechanism, sequencing, and controls for repeatable, reliable production.

Integrated assembly | Fewer secondary operations | Reduced handling | Process consolidation | Production efficiency
